The Roth Famly
Philip Roth:
Philip is the main charter and narrator in the book. He is seven years old. He colects stamps. His stamp colecton holds vairous patroitic stamps. They are pictures of natinal parks and Presdents. He is inattaly infactuated by Lindbergh. He is captvated by his stylist flair and views him as a hero untill his ani-semitic agenda (or at least according to his father) begins to un-veil.
Herman Roth:
Herman is Philip's father. Herman is very patroitotic. He holds a strong belif in the Constution and Bill of Rights. He views Lindbegh as an ant-semite. He also is very vocal about his opinoins. At one point in the book he almost gets in a fight over his opinon that Lindbergh is a facist. This gets him labeld as a "loud mouth Jew".
Sandy Roth:
Sandy is Philp's 12 year-old brother. Sandy is a very talentd artist, he can draw amazing portis of people. Some of his best drawings are of Lindbegh. He feels that Lindbergh has done some great things in the past but is not the best canadate for presdent.
